Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies
11 p.m., VH1 The ceremony first aired in its three-hour entirety on March 10, about which Globe critic Sarah Rodman wrote, ‘‘It was simply too long, full of dead spots, and hampered by an audience full of stiff industry types whose tepid response muted even the good bits.’’ Let’s hope tonight’s edited version — it’s only 2½ hours! — manages to seem a little more entertaining. Among the inducted: Madonna, Leonard Cohen, and John Mellencamp.

Her Only Child

Nicholle Tom played daughter Maggie on "The Nanny," but she was a lot funnier as Laura Kightlinger's partner in crime on IFC's "The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman." Tonight, she does drama as a woman whose overprotective, needy mother is sabotaging her new romance.

ON DEMAND

Mr. Bean's Holiday
Comcast

Rowan Atkinson's latest outing as his nearly silent clown Mr. Bean is a throwback to a strain of gentle, purely visual Euro-slapstick that has all but died out. The hero travels to the South of France, but drolly timed disasters waylay him time and again. Even when the movie's coming up empty, you're glad it's in there pitching. Co-starring Emma de Caunes and Willem Dafoe. Yes, that Willem Dafoe. (G; runs through April 30) - Ty Burr
