Speeders
8 p.m., truTV
I love it that there is enough space on television for a show about traffic-law violators. We used to have to sit and watch the expressway for hours to see infractions, or wait for CNN to send a helicopter after an escaping criminal like O.J. But now we can just sit down and watch this weekly series about speeding tickets and broken brake lights. Those of you who say the world isn't improving just aren't paying attention.

Last Comic Standing
8:30 p.m., Channel 7NBC is ruthless when it comes to promoting its own. Ever notice how many "Saturday Night Live" sketches goof on NBC and Bravo shows? Now this stand-up competition continues the tradition, using a lot of NBC-identified talent to scour the clubs for funny. Tonight, look for Angela Kinsey (left) and Oscar Nunez from "The Office."

Invincible
Another wedge of inspirational sports-movie cheese from Disney. This one stars a hard-working Mark Wahlberg as Vince Papale, the real-life guy who tried out for the Philadelphia Eagles and made it. The movie is thoroughly unoriginal, but it's been made with enough macho heart to prevent you from caring that it's the ESPN equivalent of a Lifetime movie. (PG; runs through June 4) - Wesley Morris
