A trio of amusing guest stars - Illeana Douglas, Jeff Garlin (above), and Mo Rocca - makes this episode a little less worthless than its dumb murder plot. Rocca plays a much reviled gossip columnist who gets killed. Chris Noth and the returning Julianne Nicholson aim to solve the case.

A sweet, clunky, earnest, and often very funny mix of heaven and earthiness as demons and angels duke it out en route from Wisconsin to New Jersey. Kevin Smith's often profane but always sincere satire stars Linda Fiorentino as Christ's descendant, Chris Rock as the 13th Apostle, Alanis Morissette as God - and Ben Affleck and Matt Damon as bad-news angelic exiles trying to blast their way back into heaven.
