An NYPD cop (Mark Wahlberg) leans on his derelict club-manager brother (Joaquin Phoenix, above with Eva Mendes) to inform on the drug lord operating out of his nightspot. A good yarn in the Sidney Lumet vein, it's not a great movie, but the title, hair, and mumbling, courtesy of Phoenix and Wahlberg, are great. With Robert Duvall as dad and Eva Mendes as Phoenix's hood ornament of a girlfriend. - Wesley Morris (R; runs through July 13)
