10 p.m., Channel 5The premiere of this show did nicely in the ratings last week - almost 12 million viewers. Will those viewers return for episode 2, tonight after "Grey's Anatomy"? Will the drama, about a cop who wakes up in 1973, continue to live up to the promise of the pilot? And could Michael Imperioli's handlebar mustache possibly be any longer?

10 p.m., Channel 7Maura Tierney clocks in her final hour on "ER" tonight. Which is sad for fans of "ER." As her Abby went through alcohol issues and relationship ups and downs, Tierney has been the best reason to watch the show in its later years. The good news: Tierney will be on "Rescue Me," as Denis Leary's new flame, when the FX series returns in March.

Red
1/2 Deep, grave, and yet full of playfulness, the final installment in Krzysztof Kieslowski's trilogy brilliantly caps the series, which is loosely based on the colors of the French Tricolor and their symbolic import. "Fraternity" is the notional text here, and Kieslowski does indeed evoke the fragile filaments linking people. Irene Jacob (above) is radiant in the lead role; Jean-Louis Trintignant is the prickly old man who supplies the connection needed to let the story reach its profoundly satisfying implications. (R; runs through Oct. 20)
