Saturday Night Live 11:30 p.m., Channel 7

It has been a pleasure to watch Paul Rudd's career expand over the past decade, from "Clueless" and "The Object of My Affection" to the more playful Judd Apatow comedies. He was the perfect choice as Pheobe's boyfriend on "Friends" - askew enough, but not merely a caricature. Tonight, Rudd (above) hosts "SNL" in support of his new movie, "Role Models," which he also co-wrote. Beyoncé is the musical guest.

Accidental Friendship 9 p.m., Hallmark Channel

I've liked Chandra Wilson (above, with D.B. Woodside) as Bailey on "Grey's Anatomy" primarily when she goes for the tart comedy. The scene during which she coined a new phrase for female genitalia was a classic. But her dramatic moments can be terribly overbaked. Tonight, she plays a homeless woman in a Hallmark movie, so I'm betting she'll be emoting with a capital E.

M*A*S*H: 30th Anniversary Reunion 9 p.m., TV Land

Relive the 2002 reliving of the 1972-83 reliving of the 1950-53 war.

The Greatest Tunnel Ever Built 10 p.m., History Channel

Nope, it's in New York.

A/k/a Tommy Chong 7:30 p.m., Showtime 2

Not a puff piece.

Austin City Limits Midnight, Channel 44

Take Bettye LaVette like she is.

The Godfather 8 p.m., AMC Before the days of Fast Lane.
