True Blood 11:30 p.m., HBO

As we approach Sunday's season finale of "True Blood," I want to give a shout out to Ryan Kwanten, who plays Jason Stackhouse, Sookie's man-slut of a brother. Kwanten (above with Lois Smith, center, and Anna Paquin) has been like a live electric wire on the show. He's awesome, and he makes Jason's dull thinking process crystal clear. Most awesome of all: He's Australian, and his seamless Southern accent is completely fake.

Brothers to Brutha 10:30 p.m., BET

Jacob, Poppa, Jared, Anthony, and Grady, who all have the same father but different mothers, have formed an R&B band called Brutha. This reality show will follow the half-brothers from South Central LA as they struggle to make it in the music business. Having a BET camera crew following them around certainly won't hurt their chances.

Pirate Code 8 p.m., National Geographic

Something to do with bandanas in the back pocket?

The Mentalist 9 p.m., Channel 4

Jane, he's gotta run.

Eli Stone 10 p.m., Channel 5

A marijuana case. Sounds cushy.

Extreme Loggers 10 p.m., Discovery Channel

No matter what, they log on.

Dirty Jobs 9 p.m., Discovery Channel

Why did Mike cross the road? To work at a chicken farm.
