30 Rock 9:30 p.m., Channel 7

I really don't want to say "I told you so" to "30 Rock." Partly because talking to a TV show is just weird, but partly because I want this show to stay good. But the whole guest-star-every-episode thing continues to pose a threat to the integrity of the writing - to wit, last week's Jennifer Aniston episode, which was remarkably flaccid and clichéd. Tonight, Steve Martin (above) is the gimmick of the week.

How Stuff Works 8 p.m., Discovery Channel

Are you feeling festive about the coming Thanksgiving holiday? Here's a potential buzz kill. Tonight, this explanation series looks at the life journey of the turkey, from conception onward. And you can bet it doesn't end well. "Stuff" indeed.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation 9 p.m., Channel 4

A grande no-fat double homicide. No whip, please.

The Vanishing Frog 8 p.m., Animal Planet

A frog-killing fungus. A run on princes with athlete's foot.

The Office 9 p.m., Channel 7

Wintertime, and the microwave's messy.

The Truman Show 10 p.m., TBS

Julie Chen is watching you.

Neanderthal Code 10 p.m., National Geographic
