Rosie Live 8 p.m., Channel 7
There are two Rosies. There's Tabloid Trash Talk Rosie, who always has her dukes up, especially when it comes to "The View." She's sound and fury signifying nothing - except free publicity. And then there's Entertainer Rosie, who can be funny and kind of dear. Let's hope the latter shows up tonight for this live variety-show hour, which will feature Alec Baldwin, Alanis Morissette, Jane Krakowski, Ne-Yo, Liza Minnelli, Rachael Ray, Harry Connick Jr., Clay Aiken, and Kathy Griffin.
Dirty Sexy Money 10 p.m., Channel 5
It's too bad "Pushing Daisies" has been canceled, but I'm more sorry that "Dirty Sexy Money" has been axed. Next to "Gossip Girl," it has been TV's most fun-loving and yet dramatically solid soap opera. I admire "Daisies," and recognized the value of its originality, and honor ABC for giving it a shot in the first place, but I've been hooked on "Dirty Sexy Money." I'll miss you, my Darlings, and savor the remaining hours. Pictured (from left): Glenn Fitzgerald and Peter Krause.
