Talk about pandering to the public mood. In this reality show, a different wealthy American goes to a struggling town each week, where he or she gives cash to the most deserving residents. Anonymously, the rich people will befriend the needy to determine who's deserving (please ignore those cameras). How about a visit to Gilbertville soon? Pictured: millionaire Molly Shattuck.
Grammy Nominations Concert Live! 9 p.m., Channel 4
CBS tries to promote February's Grammy Awards telecast tonight by announcing the nominees during a live gala concert. LL Cool J and Taylor Swift (above) will host, with scheduled performances by Celine Dion, Foo Fighters, Mariah Carey, and B.B. King. Maybe next year the network will have a concert to promote the nominations concert that will promote the awards-show concert?
