The Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade 10 a.m., Channel 5

David Cook is an interesting case. He's a rock singer who has cultivated a sort of country-star persona. The "American Idol" winner (below) growls like a dark indie bad boy, but then he's Mr. American Nice Guy who, today, is going to sing Christmas songs and parade down the Magic Kingdom's Main Street with Disney characters. Also performing: Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, Corbin Bleu, Sarah Brightman, and Jose Feliciano.

Hallmark Heroes 8 p.m., Hallmark Channel

Regis Philbin hosts this homage to real people - you know, as opposed to the fake ones. The holiday hour will look at the folks who did generous things for those less fortunate without expecting to be the stars of an hour of prime-time attention (see "Secret Millionaire").
