The 31st Annual Kennedy Center Honors 9 p.m., Channel 4

Don't tell me not to watch, I've simply got to. Why? Because I want to see honoree Barbra Streisand (above left) wrap her 9-inch-fingernailed hand around fellow honoree Pete Townshend's hand. Because Clint Eastwood and Denzel Washington will pay homage to Morgan Freeman (right). And because 150 New York firemen and policemen will sing "Baba O'Riley."

Eli Stone 10 p.m., Channel 5

This whimsical spiritual series just couldn't draw enough viewers to last. ABC canceled it with "Pushing Daisies" and "Dirty Sexy Money" in one fell swoop. But the "Eli Stone" creators knew they were canceled before they stopped production, and so tonight's finale will offer fans some closure. The episode revolves around brother Nate's wedding.
