Neil Young: Don't Be Denied 9 p.m., Channel 2
This episode of "American Masters" is devoted to the career of Neil Young, beginning with his pre-Buffalo Springfield days. The hour will include interviews with Young and various musicians he's worked with. A valid look at a master? Or a plug aimed at baby boomers for his much-delayed new "Archives Vol. 1: 1963-1972" box set?
Pitchmen 10 p.m., Discovery Channel
Have you seen this show? It's pretty funny, as Billy Mays and Anthony "Sully" Sullivan try to help people sell their newfangled inventions. Billy and Sully are the guys who yell at you from the TV commercials and infomercials, about cleaning products and grater devices. Billy's all-American, Sully is a Brit, and they use repetition and subconscious cues to make you want to spend money.
