Royal Pains 10 p.m., USA
Good luck, Mark Feuerstein. The actor hasn't caught a break when it comes to headlining his own TV shows, which have included "Conrad Bloom," "3 lbs.," and "Good Morning, Miami." "Royal Pains," a thin, light-hearted medical drama set in the ritzy Hamptons, just may do the trick for him, thanks to a strong lead-in by the superior and popular "Burn Notice."
River Monsters 8 p.m., Discovery Channel
Piranha. Hahahaha. On this docu-series, extreme angler Jeremy Wade leads us through a search for the biggest, baddest fish in the world. Frankly, the images on this show are nightmarish, unless you find images of really sharp teeth soothing. So proceed at your own risk.
