Tonight’s episode focuses on Sergeant Gabriel after he has shot a murder suspect, and actor Corey Reynolds always does a nice job when he has more than a few lines. But I’m waiting for the Lieutenant Provenza episode, when we learn why he has been so up and down this season, and why his body aches. Is he in love? That may be too easy a solution. Jackie’s life is split into pieces. There’s hospital Jackie, home Jackie, and drug addict Jackie, and they all seem quite compartmentalized. But her family’s life is organic, and as Jackie spins out of control, her daughter appears to be having the symptoms. This show keeps getting better. Pictured: Edie Falco and Paul Schulze.
