There’s this place at the very tip of Cape Cod where you just might catch a glimpse of two sisters wearing fabulous hats. This documentary looks at Provincetown - the history, the personalities, the culture, the beauty. Those interviewed include writers Michael Cunningham, Peter Manso, and Norman Mailer, as well as comedian Lea DeLaria and artist Anne Packard. Alan Cumming narrates.

This odd, overheated series comes to a close tonight. The production values have been extraordinary, and Australian actor Christopher Egan (he plays David) is bound to find another vehicle soon. But the story was too unconventional and allegorical, and viewers fled. NBC started the spring series on Sundays, moved it to Saturdays, pulled it, and finally bumped it to Saturdays during the summer.
