SPIES LIKE US
(Encore on Comcast) Dan Aykroyd and Chevy Chase as bumbling US spies tracking a missile on Russian soil, wearing fur coats and cement shoes. (PG; runs through Oct. 15)

TAP
(Encore on Comcast) Great dancing from Gregory Hines and a host of amazing old-timers, and not much story to get in the way of their moves. The sugarcoated book has him playing a hoofer trying to go straight, with the help of partner Suzzanne Douglas, Sammy Davis Jr., and a platoon of guardian angels of dance. (PG-13; runs through Oct. 15)

THE FIFTH ELEMENT
(Encore on Comcast) Luc Besson’s sci-fi extravaganza looks great. It should, considering that it had the good sense to borrow from such classics as “Metropolis’’ “Blade Runner,’’ and “Star Wars’’ (not to mention such non-classics as “Stargate’’). Bruce Willis saves the world in the 23d century, with the aid of Milla Jovovich’s slinky, punked-out mutant. But there’s just not much there, and the stylish visuals can hide it only so long. (PG-13; runs through Oct. 15)
