THE GOLDEN BOYS
(Comcast Movies and Events) David Carradine, Rip Torn, and Bruce Dern share a big, dirty house on the water in 1905 Chatham. They’re seamen. They’re single. They’re crotchety, and they’re acting up a squall. The gist is that a woman is wanted to tidy their house and their lives. Pictured (from left): Dern, Torn, and Carradine. (Unrated; runs through Oct. 22)

WESLEY MORRIS

EXCESS BAGGAGE
(Comcast Free Movies) Lukewarm romantic action-comedy with Alicia Silverstone as an heiress who fakes her kidnapping to get her father’s attention, then gets involved with car thief Benicio Del Toro, who heists her BMW unaware that she has stashed herself in the trunk. His whiny pessimism is the most amusing thing in the film. (PG-13; runs through Oct. 27)

IN THE LOOP
(Comcast Movies and Events) A brutally funny political satire about war machinations on both sides of the Atlantic. Director Armando Iannucci amasses a group of boobs, users, and charlatans and asks us to recognize our duly appointed officials. With James Gandolfini as a Pentagon general. (Unrated; runs through Oct. 27) TY BURR
