MAX KEEBLE’S BIG MOVE
(Encore on Comcast) OK, it’s a transparent rip-off of “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,’’ but it’s genial, slightly naughty fun all the same. Alex D. Linz (above) plays the junior-high anarchist of the title into a resourceful, low-key hero as he seeks revenge on the school bully. (PG; runs through Oct. 29)

IF LOOKS COULD KILL
(Encore on Comcast) This sloppy spoof of James Bond movies has a few funny moments - intentionally and not. Linda Hunt as arch villain Ilsa Grunt is a gas; Richard Grieco as a student mistaken for a CIA agent is dull. (PG-13; runs through Oct. 29)

MR. SATURDAY NIGHT
(Encore on Comcast) Writer-director-star Billy Crystal is on a roll here, creating an alter ego from borscht belt heaven. Septuagenarian comic Buddy Young Jr. is funny and monstrous and sad, using and suffering from the hostility that is the wellspring of his talent. Crystal occasionally has trouble figuring out how to play the emotions, but his comic invention is brilliant, and his direction never gets in the way. (R; runs through Oct. 29)
