THE BLUES BROTHERS
(Encore on Comcast) Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi exploit their “Saturday Night Live’’ characterization under the feverish direction of John (“Animal House’’) Landis. Besides being about music, the movie is about car crashes. Too many of them. (R; runs through Nov. 5)

I SELL THE DEAD
(Comcast Movies and Events) A schlocky horror comedy made with fond reverence for the schlocky horror movies that came before it. A pair of grave robbers branch out into selling the undead. It’s not actually a good movie, but you have to admire the nerve of a film set in 1850s Ireland but shot on Staten Island. (Unrated; runs through Nov. 10) TY BURR

COCOON
(Encore on Comcast) Florida retirees discover the fountain of youth in a pool rented by aliens who have returned to Earth to rescue their companions from undersea pods. A feel-good movie for sure. (PG-13; runs through Nov. 12)
