FOR LOVE OR MONEY
(Encore on Comcast) Michael J. Fox seems a lot breezier and smarter than the material surrounding him in this throwback to old-fashioned romantic comedy. He plays a resourceful Manhattan hotel concierge who falls for the mistress (Gabrielle Anwar) of the rich guy he wants to back his own ambitious hotel plan. Pictured: Fox and Anwar. (PG; runs through Nov. 19)

FUNNY FARM
(Encore on Comcast) Chevy Chase stars as a Manhattan sportswriter who thinks he wants to go back to nature, or at least to Vermont, and write novels. But all he’s got going for him is a head full of ideas about what he thinks country living is, which he refuses to relinquish in the face of disaster after disaster. (PG; runs through Nov. 19)

MOVING
(Encore on Comcast) Richard Pryor and family have to make the big move from New Jersey to Boise, Idaho, and of course, everything that could possibly go wrong does go wrong. It’s a pleasant enough sitcom for a while, but halfway through the gremlins creep in and things get real stupid real fast. There’s a great character performance by Randy Quaid as the psycho neighbor. (R; runs through Nov. 19)
