JETSONS: THE MOVIE
(Encore on Comcast) Big, bright transfer of Hanna-Barbera’s futuristic family from the small screen to the large one, even if its ecological message weighs it down at the end. Like the original, it assures its audience that nothing the future will throw at us is beyond the sitcom world of shopping mall-oriented ’50s white suburban California. (G; runs through Nov. 26)
SOMERS TOWN
(Comcast Movies and Events) From director Shane Meadows, poet of working-class England, comes a short, lyrical black-and-white lark about two adolescent boys becoming friends in an unforgiving London.
