Take a few cubes of Octomom and a dash of the Florida parents of 16 disabled kids and mix them in boiling “Jon & Kate Plus 8’’ and - voila! - you have another ripped-from-the-headlines soup. Yuck is right. There are a zillion potential killers in this episode, and most of them are under 20.

The show returns tonight with a two-hour special. Betty starts her new job as associate features editor, which causes a little bit of resentment among the ranks. Also, Daniel tries to deal with Molly’s death. Lynn Redgrave and Kristen Johnston guest star.
