ADVENTURELAND
(Comcast Movies and Events) From Greg Mottola, the director of “Superbad,’’ comes a banal reminiscence of summer love, with a recent college graduate who takes a job at an amusement park, where he gets high and falls in love. A flavorless, willfully quirky slice of suburban boredom. Pictured: Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart. (R; runs through Jan. 10) WESLEY MORRIS

ABOUT LAST NIGHT
(Comcast Free Movies) David Mamet’s smart comedy about the gulf between the sexes at a Chicago singles bar has been pushed in the direction of romantic comedy, at the cost of irony. Demi Moore is comfortable with the romanticism, Rob Lowe is not. Jim Belushi and Elizabeth Perkins, as their possessive friends, are tartly funny, especially Belushi’s beer-keg-perfect chauvinist. He’s the one who retains Mamet’s cadences best. (R; runs through Nov. 3)

AWAY WE GO
(Comcast Movies and Events) A young couple (Maya Rudolph and John Krasinski) traverse North America looking for the perfect place to raise their unborn baby. It’s great to have a serious movie about people in their 30s, but does it have to be so smug? Directed by Sam Mendes. (R; runs through March 1) WESLEY MORRIS
