NCIS: Los Angeles 9 p.m., Channel 4

This is the season’s most popular new series, ratings-wise. And that makes me happy for Linda Hunt! As Hetty, she’s the division’s own Edith Head, suiting up the team for their oh-so-dangerous undercover work. And her owl glasses? They’re NCI-Spectacular.

3rd Rock From the Sun marathon 8:30-midnight, TV Land

I got really tired of John Lithgow really fast on this show. Talk about broad, loud, stagy acting. Nonetheless, he won three Emmys for playing Dick Solomon. Oy. This season, Lithgow is playing the Trinity Killer on “Dexter,’’ and so far his performance has been great - muted, subtle, and creepy. Which means he probably won’t even get nominated. The Forgotten 10 p.m., Channel 5

A dog won’t leave a grave. Bobby, is that you (sob)?

The Universe 9 p.m., History Channel

Iron rain. Prince was wrong.

Shark Tank 8 p.m., Channel 5

Customized bobbleheads? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

The Biggest Loser 8 p.m., Channel 7

Healthy choices. Like chocolate granola bars with drizzled caramel.

Dancing With the Stars 9 p.m., Channel 5

A tribute to Paul Ank - I mean, Michael Jackson.
