Castle 10 p.m., Channel 5

“Castle’’ is developing a loyal fan base, with ratings in the 9-10 millions, and CBS recently gave it a full-season pickup. The light show is an old-fashioned crime series, by which I mean it’s not all about forensic evidence and cool atmosphere. It’s like “Bones’’ - Nathan Fillion’s Castle and Stana Katic’s Beckett banter and flirt while solving cases - but without the bones. I don’t quite feel the chemistry between the leads, do you? Tonight, a guy wearing vampire teeth is found dead in a graveyard with a stake through his heart.

Death Masks 8 p.m., History Channel

This is creepy, and morbid, too. Sounds like a good time to me. The two-hour documentary has forensic scientists and anthropologists identifying the casts made of the faces of historical figures after they died. Using facial-reconstruction techniques and 3-D detailing, they then look at every wrinkle on the likes of Abraham Lincoln, Napoleon, and George Washington.
