The phrase “digital cuteness’’ should be oxymoronic, but it’s not. You can’t beat the voice cast on this animated half-hour Halloween special, including Seth Rogan, Hugh Laurie, Will Arnett, Rainn Wilson, and Reese Witherspoon. The story picks up where the movie “Monsters vs. Aliens’’ left off, with the monsters working as special government operatives looking into strange events in Modesto, Calif. And you thought those were jack-o-lanterns.
