White Collar 10 p.m., USA

I’m really curious about the second episode of this series. Last week’s premiere, which did extremely well for USA in the ratings, was a strong introduction to the buddy chemistry of the lead characters, FBI agent Peter (Tim DeKay) and con artist Neal (Matt Bomer). But good pilots don’t always follow through (I feel a Northwest joke coming on). The second and third episodes are a better barometer of whether or not the series will fly.
