Grey’s Anatomy 9 p.m., Channel 5

Last week’s Derek-narrated episode encapsulated what this show still does brilliantly (tension mixed with humor mixed with pathos) and horribly (world’s calmest, wisest tumor patient). Tonight, we spend some time with Arizona.

Community 8 p.m., Channel 7

One of this show’s hidden gems is Alison Brie, understated as Annie, the underdog - and so different here than on “Mad Men,’’ where she plays the more-together Trudy Campbell. Tonight, Annie devises a date for Troy and another girl.

Vampire Diaries 8 p.m., Channel 56

They’re prettier than the “90210’’ kids. Toothier, too.

Project Runway 10 p.m., Lifetime

The show has lost some viewers and some mojo, too. Maybe it’s a Michael Kors deficiency.

Real Housewives of Orange County 10 p.m., Bravo

The East Coast ladies are dishier, but the Californians still know how to shop.

It Only Hurts When I Laugh 10 p.m., truTV

Bloopers, writ mean.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia 10 p.m., FX

Visualize Danny DeVito saying “kitten mittens.’’
