The Daily Show With Jon Stewart 11 p.m., Comedy Central
So what did you think of the goatee Stewart began sporting last week? He made some jokes on the air about all the gray (including a sight gag in which he dunked his chin in marshmallow). At 47, the self-described fake news anchor is clearly willing to look his age in front of his young fans. Hey, going gray didn’t hurt Walter Cronkite. Don’t forget that when Time magazine asked in an online poll last year “Now that Walter Cronkite has passed on, who is America’s most trusted newscaster?,’’ Stewart won, trouncing Brian Williams, Charlie Gibson, and Katie Couric.
