Burn Notice 9 p.m., USA

USA and TNT have come up with an unexpectedly successful way of making their series feel bigger than they are. They air the bulk of the shows, including “Burn Notice,’’ “The Closer,’’ and “Leverage,’’ during the summer. But then, in the off-season, the networks bring them back for a mini-run. It seems confusing, and network shows that come and go irregularly often suffer — “Lost,’’ for instance, which took a ratings plunge when season 3 was broken in half. But USA and TNT have only benefited by this approach. Tonight, “Burn Notice’’ bids adieu for a few months, and fans will need to wait a few months to hear Fiona say, “Shall we shoot them?’’ Pictured: Gabrielle Anwar and Jeffrey Donovan.
