What’s Eating You? 10 p.m., E!

E! is patting itself on the back for this new series, which takes a look at people with eating disorders. But don’t get too high on yourself, E!, seeing as most of your imagery is of painfully fat-free bodies. Plus: The Kardashians. “What’s Eating You?’’ is the latest reality-TV-style study of a mental-health issue, now that shows about addiction, hoarding, and OCD have drawn audiences. Each episode will look at two people with eating disorders, focusing tonight on an anorexic dancer and a woman with bulimia who is creating financial problems for her family.

Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time 9 p.m., Comedy Central

Nick Swardson’s sketch material is uneven. I’ve seen a few of his pieces online — Wheelchair Cat, a multimillionaire cat who speaks with a computer voice, and Garry Gaga, Lady’s cop brother — and they’re funny in a viral comedy kind of way, by which I mean in small doses. But his standup can be pretty strained, with him as a heavy-drinking caveman fixated on gay jokes and drunk chicks. Proceed at your own risk.

Law & Order: SVU 9 p.m., Channel 7

Body in a fountain. “Friends’’ gone wrong.

Harry Loves Lisa 10 p.m., TV Land

I’d rather watch “The Road.’’

Modern Family 9 p.m., Channel 5

The Phil Zone, where bad jokes are good.

Law & Order: Los Angeles 10 p.m., Channel 7

It’s a mixed-up, muddled-up, shook-up world.
