Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2010 10 p.m., Channel 5

Jennifer Lopez was particularly fascinating this year for — oh, I forget. For taking a job with “American Idol,’’ I guess. Also in Barbara’s group: Sarah Palin, Justin Bieber (pictured), the cast of “Jersey Shore,’’ Betty White, LeBron James, Sandra Bullock, Kate Middleton, and two mystery people so you’ll tune in to find out who they are. By the way, Walters is devoting an hour to “Oprah, the Next Chapter,’’ beginning at 9.

The Santa Incident 8 p.m., Hallmark Channel

Running a little low on holiday plots, Hallmark? A Homeland Security agent shoots a large man with a white beard who’s riding a sleigh through the sky. Enter Ione Skye and her kids, who rescue Santa after he crashes to Earth and then nurse him back to health. Can they heal him in time for Christmas? Strange how Ione Skye, who was in the good movies “Say Anything. . .,’’ “Gas Food Lodging,’’ and “River’s Edge,’’ has ended up here.

The Office 9 p.m., Channel 7

The Mentalist 10 p.m., Channel 4

A Santa is killed. His suit is the color of red rum.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills 10 p.m., Bravo

Poor, but not poor, Camille.
