WTF with Marc Maron
This is a TV column, but I’d like to mention a podcast, one that might appeal to other TV comedy fans. Marc Maron is a raging, neurotic, and sometimes sweet stand-up comic who has created this rich talk bubble where he does frank (R-rated) interviews with other comics. Many of his guests are from TV (Amy Poehler, Bill Hader, Will Arnett, Ed Helms, Jimmy Fallon) and others are less-known but no less engaging. Maron (who went to Boston University) knows how to get these people to relax and delve into the strange, stressful business of making audiences laugh. When you compare his conversations to those on TV talk shows, you realize just how authentic and revelatory they are. In each episode, he opens with personal shtick about his own existential shame and envy - and I don’t think I’m alone in relating to his obsessions - and then he turns the focus to his guest, sometimes for over an hour. Maron also occasionally talks to actors on his podcast, most recently Jon Hamm and Bryan Cranston. Epsiodes are downloadable at www.wtfpod.com.

OK, just wasted 10 minutes on YouTube watching Megan Mullally bloopers from “Will & Grace.’’ Love her. She’s been on “30 Rock,’’ “Party Down,’’ “Childrens Hospital,’’ and “Parks and Recreation’’ since those days, and tonight’s she’s Penny’s mom on “Happy Endings.’’
American Horror Story 10 p.m., FX
Spoiler alert: Dylan McDermott clenches his jaw.
