Flip Men 10:30 p.m., Spike

Who ever said the recession and home foreclosures can’t be deployed as light reality entertainment? Certainly not Spike, which is introducing a new series tonight in which real estate experts and entrepreneurs Doug Clark and Mike Baird buy foreclosed homes, gut and renovate them, and resell them for a lot more money. Among their purchases: a former meth lab and a McMansion in a McNeighborhood.

Zombies: A Living History 8 p.m., History Channel

Ride the wave, History Channel! This two-hour special points out that zombies aren’t only a recent phenomenon on TV and in comic books. The walking dead have been limping along for centuries. Zombie legends go way back, including to the days of the Black Plague in Europe. Among the interviewees: authors Max Brooks and Jonathan Maberry.

The Real Rocky 8 p.m., ESPN

Hope he’ll explain how squirrels fly.
