Cheers, Suzanne

I just want to note a change in the Globe's TV staff. Suzanne Ryan, who has been reporting on television since 2001, has decided to betray -- er, I mean, has decided to move on at the Globe. She will be covering the far less -- er, I mean the equally interesting beat of Style, alongside Christopher Muther. Her work will be featured regularly in the Thursday Style section, where she will write about prom dresses instead of the proms on the CW youth melodramas.

Seriously, it has been a real pleasure working with Suzanne. I'm sure she'll bring a nice touch to Style, not least of all because of her years of experience as the Globe's fashion writer. And if she ever needs an advance copy of, say, "Battlestar Galactica," or "The Sopranos," she is welcome to come begging, and perhaps I will have mercy on her.
