Dancing With Dr. Quinn

ABC today announced the 12 celebrity contestants for this fall's "Dancing With The Stars." And I've got to hand it to the network...they've tapped into something. Perhaps fading stars' irrepressible urge to appear on high-rated national TV. The series returns to the airwaves on September 24. The contestants are:

Melanie Brown (a.k.a. Scary Spice)
Sabrina Bryan (star of Disney's "The Cheetah Girls")
Helio Castroneves (Indy 500 champ)
Mark Cuban (impresario and onetime reality host)
Jennie Garth ("90210"!)
Josie Maran (model you might have heard of, or maybe not)
Cameron Matheson ("All My Children")
Floyd Mayweather (boxer)
Wayne Newton (Wayne Newton)
Marie Osmond (Marie Osmond)
Albert Reed (model)
Jane Seymour ("Dr. Quinn," plus the cougar on "How I Met Your Mother")
