"Lost" on a Roll

Last night's "Lost," with Sayid flash-forwards, was another killer episode. So far, every hour this season has been outrageously good. You get the feeling you're learning the truth, even as the mysteries grow. What's up with Sayid and the bracelet? Why was Ben in a vet's office? Is Ben considered one of the Oceanic Six? Etc., etc. etc.

The flash-forwards have blown the entire series wide open, and I’m thinking that at some point down the line the flash-forwards may turn out to be flashbacks from an even further future point. Or something like that. Anyway, the producers have announced they will be filming an additional five episodes, bringing this season to 13. This is great news. And when post-strike episodes of “Grey’s Anatomy” return in April, “Lost” will move to the Thursday 10 p.m. slot.
