Oscars a Go

The Oscars will be the Oscars this year, for those of you who were worried about having to miss out on Hollywood's annual self-love marathon because of the strike. Reschedule that party. The stars will be back in full borrowed regalia, bearing the boredom and reciting all the bad jokes with pride, on February 24. Jon Stewart is hosting.
Uh-oh. Wait. Can the show's writers come up with really great bad jokes that will make us groan with glee in only 11 or so days? Fingers crossed.

History of The Oscars
Apparently, Bette Davis was the first one call it "Oscar", or at least, to receive a statue with that name, back in 1936.
