Royal Family: Boston loves you, 20/20 special scores for WCVB

The recent ABC "20/20" special, The Royal Family: Behind the Palace Walls, fared well for WCVB: The show was the most watched one in Boston (379,000 viewers) after "American Idol" for the week of March 3-9. The local rankings mostly mirrored the national ones with the 20/20 special drawing 14 million viewers. CBS's "60 Minutes" also did well, coming in #6 in the Boston market and #7 nationally. Actually, 60 Minutes regularly appears as one of the top 10 most watched shows in The Hub each week throughout the year. Go Morley and the gang!
Not listed below but also of note: NBC's "Lipstick Jungle" seems to be gaining local viewers, coming in #26 with 183,000 viewers. Fox 25's 10 p.m. newscast from Thursday night came in at #23 with 187,000. It's the only local newscast to regularly break into the 30 most watched Boston shows for the week.
