"HIMYM": Who's Your Mama?

I STILL don't think Stella is the mother on "How I Met Your Mother," despite the fact that Ted proposed to her at the end of last night's season finale, and despite this clue that has been circulating on the web.
Once again during the episode, there were references to Stella's sister, and I'm bent on thinking that that's significant. I may be reading too much into the fact that twice now, Ted has alluded to this character we still haven't seen. But the "HIMYM" writers are generally pretty careful. It would make sense for them to spend next season having Ted go through a relationship with Stella, only to find that Stella is the link to the love of his life, her sister. And that would explain the above clue, which shows something from Stella's home in the future Ted's home. This theory, of course, assumes that Stella's sister will not get married in six months....I just have an intuition about it, but then I had an intuition that "Bionic Woman" would be a hit.
PS. I wasn't pleased to see Barney getting all "you're the one" when he looked at Robin from his hospital bed. I've said it before here, and I'll say it again: Once a sitcom starts turning all of its friends into lovers and ex-lovers, it can start to lose its punch. The stories become soap operatic, and, as a result, less funny. But, yeah, I still love this show.

Loved the music from the show last night. Opening with everybody rushing to Ted's bedside with Radiohead's Nice Dreams playing and ending with The Replacements Here comes a regular.
I'm not surprised a Lost fan picked that out. Those people are crazy.
Anyways, if you read on the first page of comments of the ONTD post you see people refer to the girl he bumped into at the St. Patrick's Day party. My money is on her to be the mother.
I think Stella's the one, b/c, picking up on the clue from the St. Pats day party (the yellow umbrella girl, leaving as Ted was going in), Stella, early on with Ted, mentioned that one of the few times she had been out was to a St. Pats party with her friends, that she left early.
I'm with you on not being pleased with Barney's lost-puppy look at Robin. I like your theory about Stella's sister.
