The poop on...poop

Posted by Joanna Weiss June 25, 2008 09:10 PM

The TV green craze Matthew wrote about last weekend has officially gone too far. On June 30 at 9 p.m., History presents a documentary called "All About Dung," which celebrates what, um, feces can tell us about various human and animal populations. Turns out it was an ingredient in early explosives, can be used to charge a cellphone, and, according to the press release, "may even help solve some energy and food concerns today." Well, I'm sure it's cheaper than gasoline. More from the release, because I love it so: "In this epic odyssey through natural and human history, our aversion to poop just might turn into an understanding of how miraculous and essential the stuff really is."
