Luke Russert on 'Today'

Luke Russert, Tim Russert's son, will appear on "Today" tomorrow morning, Monday, June 16. He'll talk aboutt his dad with Matt Lauer in a live interview via remote from Washington, DC. The interview will air from 7 to 7:30 a.m.

Mr. Russert always peaked my interest with his interviews. I am not really a political person, but with Mr Russert, you could not get enough of the world of politics when he started talking. He made it something you wanted to hear more about by the questions he asked. I can not even imagine the presidential race without him and his little white board. My sympathy to his family. He will be missed.
Matt Lauer was right when he said that Luke lived up to every expectation. He was so articulate and poised and his father would have been, yet again, proud. What a fine fine young man.
Who will be at his first round table discussion in heaven?
We lost a great person. Also, NBC, Tom Brokaw have done a brilliant job
honoring Tim Russert.
He will watch and guide us in the upcoming presidential race.
He has never let any of us down.
Love to his father,wife,& son.
I always liked Tim Russert not only did he make news interesting he also made me smile. I was shocked when he died. I felt a sense of loss and still do. What I think is funny is that I did not know how beloved he was. I had no idea that he was the family man that he was, I didn't even know his sons name was Luke. With out me knowing those things about him I personally felt a connection with him and viewed him as a trusted and sweet man. After watching the reaction to his death and learning so much more about him I feel heart broken for those that were closest to him. His presence will be irreplacable and yet we will all go on. I also believe that his death on Fathers Day weekend is a testimony to his Faith and belief. The timing of his death is truly a message from God. The Lord took him quickly - Tim was truly a blessed man. He made so many people happy and he himself was probably the happiest of all.
I am so sad about tim , I am a buffalo native, and Tim Russert was Buffalo's Shining Star!....Our brightest light has dimmed....to grow up in Buffalo is to learn what character is all about. I, like Tim have lived away from Buffalo for years, but Buffalo has stayed in my heart!.....Not everyone from Buffalo appreciates our town,It has to have captured your soul to do that....Tim appreciated his hometown like I did, so I couild relate to him. Buffalo is sad, we have lost someone so very special....but, the people of Buffalo,NY are a very resilient group of people, but Tim will never be forgotten, he was and will be "Our Favorite Son"
