According to the Los Angeles Times, here are the 10 finalists for the Best Actress in a Comedy and Best Supporting Actor in a Drama categories:

BEST COMEDY ACTRESS
Christina Applegate, "Samantha Who?"
Marcia Cross, "Desperate Housewives"
America Ferrera, "Ugly Betty"
Tina Fey, "30 Rock"
Anna Friel, "Pushing Daisies"
Felicity Huffman, "Desperate Housewives"
Eva Longoria Parker, "Desperate Housewives"
Julia Louis-Dreyfus, "New Adventures of Old Christine"
Mary-Louise Parker, "Weeds"
Sarah Silverman, "The Sarah Silverman Program"

Big News: Sarah Silverman! A wicked, wise choice.
My choices from this list: Silverman, Marcia Cross, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Tina Fey, and Christina Applegate - who has long deserved more props for her comedy skills. (I loved her in "Anchorman.")

BEST SUPPORTING DRAMA ACTOR
Naveen Andrews, "Lost"
Bruce Dern, "Big Love"
Christian Clemenson, "Boston Legal"
Ted Danson, "Damages"
Michael Emerson, "Lost"
Zeljko Ivanek, "Damages"
T.R. Knight, "Grey's Anatomy"
William Shatner, "Boston Legal"
John Slattery, "Mad Men"
Blair Underwood, "In Treatment"
Jake Weber, "Medium"

Must win, if there's any hope of putting this world on the proper path: Michael Emerson. I'm still not sure Ben isn't one of the good guys, and Emerson is largely responsible for that.
My choices from this list: Emerson, Bruce Dern, John Slattery, Ted Danson, and Blair Underwood (in honor of Matthew, who demands recognition of "In Treatment.") I love you, Naveen, but when you cry for your lost Nadia, I'm not entirely convinced that you mean it.
