More Tim, courtesy of Luke
A zillion hearfelt sentiments and tidbits about Tim Russert have emerged in the past few days. But the most poignant so far came this morning on "Today," as Luke Russert talked to Matt Lauer about his father. Tim "absolutely loved Bruce Springsteen," Luke said, "not just the music but the man and the musician and what he stood for and how he talked about smalltown America." Remarkably composed and earnest, Luke also recalled Tim visiting him at Boston College and having chicken wings flown in from Buffalo: "People in Boston couldn't do a good wing, that's what he always said."
