I'm still tuning into "The Mole," or trying to from time to time. Is anyone else watching? Possibly not: ratings for the resurrected ABC reality show started out low and have been slipping since then. Maybe it's an unhappy accident of casting. This is a whiny group, and largely personality-free, save for Craig the Good-Natured Large Guy and Nicole the Omarosa Clone. When I spotted Alex last night, I seriously had to think for awhile to even remember who he was. And after too many seasons of "Survivor," my tolerance for wacky challenges and tricks with fire are fairly low. Reality contests are showing their age, and it will be interesting to see if the Japanese game show ethos can revive them.

For what it's worth, my money's still on Kristen the neuroscientist, who smirks a lot and always seems to be going for the exemption, or Clay the lawyer, who won himself an exemption last night just by sniveling in a lawyerly way. Nicole's just a little too obvious, no?
