Facing reality

Sorry for the delayed posting of comments (and entries). It's the heart of summer, which means that some of us are on vacation and others of are separated from the Internet from time to time. It's a weird experience. So is watching another week's worth of "High School Musical: Get In The Picture," a reality show that tests the question of whether "nice" can be interesting. (My preliminary answer: Not very often.)

In other reality TV news, I spent the day watching the first season of BET's "Baldwin Hills," which really grew on me as the season went on. I'll take Willie, Garnette and Staci over LC, Heidi, and Whitney any day. If there are any fans out there, I'd love to hear from you, by comments or e-mail: What do you love? What don't you love?

Or do you prefer to use reality TV to escape the misery of everyday life?
