You may think high definition TV is the cat's meow, or you may think it's best viewed sparingly. Either way, if you have Comcast, you now have a few more HD channels to choose from, depending on your subscription package. Today, Comcast launches:

· Disney HD, Channel 824.
· ABC Family HD, Channel 826.
· TLC HD, Channel 867.
· AMC HD, Channel 859.
· Science Channel HD, Channel 866.
· TMC (The Movie Channel) HD, Channel 883.
· Showtime 2 HD, Channel 878.

  1. No-one, NO ONE, will lament losing standard definition TV. TOO REAL? Is he kidding me?

It's about time Comcast added more HD, but they are still lagging behind other providers. Time-Warner in Maine has twice as many HD channels.
