Will Bruce Springsteen close out the final night of the Democratic National Convention with an acoustic performance? Rumors about the Boss have been afoot for days, and some still believe he will show up. But now a Washington Post blog is reporting "No Bruce for You." According to the posting, "A source in Springsteen's camp tells The Washington Post that The Boss won't be anywhere near Invesco Field on Thursday. 'He's definitely not performing nor attending and has never planned to do so,' says the source, who is privy to Springsteen's schedule."

But Jennifer Hudson, Oscar winner and former "American Idol" contestant (strange phrase, that), will definitely be in the house on Thursday. She will sing the National Anthem, at the request of Obama, who will formally accept the nomination that night.
