Waiting for Gustav
CNN seems to be peddling the idea that we should all feel in good hands because Anderson Cooper is down in the French Quarter, wearing a tight black t-shirt. He's channeling Bear Grylls -- the honest version -- and he looks pumped. I did learn one interesting thing from him tonight: Apparently, if your satellite truck isn't wedged between two perpendicular walls, the dish can act like a sail. That sounds serious. I wish Anderson, his colleagues, and his competitors luck with the blanket coverage -- especially my friends at the Times-Picayune. I've got my fingers crossed for you, New Orleans.
